Lesteva (s.str.) somsa sp.nov. (Staphylinidae: Omaliinae) from the Chatkal mountain range, Uzbekistan, is described and illustrated. New records of L. (s.str.) nova Bernhauer, 1902 from the same mountain rage is provided.
